حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو کُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَبِي طَيْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي يَمُوتُ بِأَرْضٍ إِلَّا بُعِثَ قَائِدًا وَنُورًا لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ وَرُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَبِي طَيْبَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 3865
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Buraidah: from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There is no one among my Companions who dies in a land except that he shall be resurrected as a guide and light for them (people of that land) on the Day of Resurrection.
