حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ رَجَائٍ أَبِي يَحْيَی قَال سَمِعْتُ مُسَافِعًا الْحَاجِبَ قَال سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الرُّکْنَ وَالْمَقَامَ يَاقُوتَتَانِ مِنْ يَاقُوتِ الْجَنَّةِ طَمَسَ اللَّهُ نُورَهُمَا وَلَوْ لَمْ يَطْمِسْ نُورَهُمَا لَأَضَائَتَا مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا يُرْوَی عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو مَوْقُوفًا قَوْلُهُ وَفِيهِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَيْضًا وَهُوَ حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 878
Abdullah bin Amr narrated that : He heard the Messenger of Allah saying: Indeed the Corner and the Maqam are two corundums from the corundum of Paradise. Allah removed their lights, and if their lights had not been removed then they would illuminate what is between east and the west.
