حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَاضِرٍ الْأَزْدِيِّ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَلَّتْ الْإِبِلُ عَلَی عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَنْحَرُوا الْبَقَرَ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3134
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "Camels became scarce at the time of the Messenger of Allah, so he commanded them to sacrifice cows."
