حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ کُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ مُحْرِمُونَ فَإِذَا لَقِيَنَا الرَّاکِبُ أَسْدَلْنَا ثِيَابَنَا مِنْ فَوْقِ رُئُوسِنَا فَإِذَا جَاوَزَنَا رَفَعْنَاهَا حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِهِ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 2935
It was narrated that Aishah said: "We were with the Prophet P.B.U.H , and we were in Ihram, When a rider met us we would lower our garments from the top of our heads, and when he has gone, we would lift them up again." (Da'if) Another chain with similar wording.
