حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّقَ نَخْلَ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ وَقَطَعَ وَفِيهِ يَقُولُ شَاعِرُهُمْ فَهَانَ عَلَی سَرَاةِ بَنِي لُؤَيٍّ حَرِيقٌ بِالْبُوَيْرَةِ مُسْتَطِيرُ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 2845
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet P.B.U.H burned palm trees of Banu Nadir an cut them down. Concerning that, their poet said: "It is easy for the elite of Banu Luai -To burn AI-Buwairah in a frightening manner." (Sahih)
