حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَالْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ قَالَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَرِثُ الصَّبِيُّ حَتَّی يَسْتَهِلَّ صَارِخًا قَالَ وَاسْتِهْلَالُهُ أَنْ يَبْکِيَ وَيَصِيحَ أَوْ يَعْطِسَ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 2751
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah and Miswar bin Makhramah that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "No child inherits until he raises his voice or cries. " (Hasan) He said: "Raising his voice means crying, yelling or sneezing."
