حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يُقْطَعُ الْخَائِنُ وَلَا الْمُنْتَهِبُ وَلَا الْمُخْتَلِسُ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 2591
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah said: "The hand of the one who betrays a trust, the robber and the pilferer is not to be cut off."
