حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو کُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَحِلُّ بَيْعُ مَا لَيْسَ عِنْدَکَ وَلَا رِبْحُ مَا لَمْ يُضْمَنْ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 2188
It was narrated from' Amr bin Shu' aib, from his father, that his grandfather said: "The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'It is not permissible to sell something that is not with you, nor to profit from what you do not possess.''' (Sahih)
