حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَی عَلَی عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ أَثَرَ صُفْرَةٍ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا أَوْ مَهْ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً عَلَی وَزْنِ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقَالَ بَارَکَ اللَّهُ لَکَ أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the prophet P.B.U.H l saw traces of vellow perfume on 'Abdur-Rahman bin "Awf and he asked him: "What is this?" He said: "0 Messenger of Allah, I married a woman for the weight of a Nawah (Stone) of gold. He said: "May Allah bless you. Give a feast even if it is only WIth one sheep." (Sahih)
