حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَقِيلِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَنَّهُ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً مِنْ بَنِي جُشَمَ فَقَالُوا بِالرَّفَائِ وَالْبَنِينَ فَقَالَ لَا تَقُولُوا هَکَذَا وَلَکِنْ قُولُوا کَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِکْ لَهُمْ وَبَارِکْ عَلَيْهِمْ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 1906
It was narrated from' Aqil bin Abu Talib that he married a woman from Banu jusham, and they said: "May you live in harmony and have many sons." He said: "Do not say that, rather say what the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'Allahumma barik lahum wa barik alaihim (0 Allah, bless them and bestow blessings upon them.)," (Hasan)
