حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِنَّکُمْ تَعُدُّونَ الْآيَاتِ عَذَابًا وَإِنَّا کُنَّا نَعُدُّهَا عَلَی عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَرَکَةً لَقَدْ کُنَّا نَأْکُلُ الطَّعَامَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ نَسْمَعُ تَسْبِيحَ الطَّعَامِ قَالَ وَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِإِنَائٍ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ فِيهِ فَجَعَلَ الْمَائُ يَنْبُعُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَيَّ عَلَی الْوَضُوئِ الْمُبَارَکِ وَالْبَرَکَةُ مِنْ السَّمَائِ حَتَّی تَوَضَّأْنَا کُلُّنَا قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 3633
Narrated 'Abdullah: You consider the signs to be punishment, whereas we used to think of them as a blessing during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). We used to eat food with the Prophet (ﷺ) and we would hear the food's Tasbih. He said: And the Prophet (ﷺ) was brought a container, so he put his hand it in, and the water began to spring from between his fingers. So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Hasten to the blessed Wudu and the blessing from the heavens' until all of had performed Wudu.
