حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ عِيسَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَعْنٌ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ قَال سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبَسَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَقْرَبُ مَا يَکُونُ الرَّبُّ مِنْ الْعَبْدِ فِي جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ الْآخِرِ فَإِنْ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ تَکُونَ مِمَّنْ يَذْکُرُ اللَّهَ فِي تِلْکَ السَّاعَةِ فَکُنْ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 3579
Abu Umamah [may Allah be pleased with him] said: `Amr bin `Abasah reported to me that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: “The closest that the Lord is to a worshipper is during the last part of the night, so if you are able to be of those who remember Allah in that hour, then do so.”
