حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ فَنَظَرَ إِلَی جُدْرَانِ الْمَدِينَةِ أَوْضَعَ رَاحِلَتَهُ وَإِنْ کَانَ عَلَی دَابَّةٍ حَرَّکَهَا مِنْ حُبِّهَا قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ

جامع ترمذی · Hadith 3441

Anas narrated that: When the Prophet would return from a trip and see the walls of Al-Madinah, he would speed up his riding camel, and if he was upon a beast, he would agitate it, out of his love for Al-Madinah.
