حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا قَضَی اللَّهُ فِي السَّمَائِ أَمْرًا ضَرَبَتْ الْمَلَائِکَةُ بِأَجْنِحَتِهَا خُضْعَانًا لِقَوْلِهِ کَأَنَّهَا سِلْسِلَةٌ عَلَی صَفْوَانٍ فَإِذَا فُزِّعَ عَنْ قُلُوبِهِمْ قَالُوا مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّکُمْ قَالُوا الْحَقَّ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْکَبِيرُ قَالَ وَالشَّيَاطِينُ بَعْضُهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 3223
Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When Allah decrees a matter in the Heavens, the angels beat their wings in submission to His saying, (sounding) as if it is a chain (being dragged) upon a rock. When the fear resides from their hearts, they say (to each other): 'What did your Lord say?' They reply: 'The truth, and He is the Most High the Great (34:23).' He said: 'And the Shayatin are one atop another.'
