حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ لَمَّا أُمِرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِتَخْيِيرِ أَزْوَاجِهِ بَدَأَ بِي فَقَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنِّي ذَاکِرٌ لَکِ أَمْرًا فَلَا عَلَيْکِ أَنْ لَا تَسْتَعْجِلِي حَتَّی تَسْتَأْمِرِي أَبَوَيْکِ قَالَتْ وَقَدْ عَلِمَ أَنَّ أَبَوَايَ لَمْ يَکُونَا لِيَأْمُرَانِي بِفِرَاقِهِ قَالَتْ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَی يَقُولُ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِکَ إِنْ کُنْتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا فَتَعَالَيْنَ حَتَّی بَلَغَ لِلْمُحْسِنَاتِ مِنْکُنَّ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا فَقُلْتُ فِي أَيِّ هَذَا أَسْتَأْمِرُ أَبَوَيَّ فَإِنِّي أُرِيدُ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ وَفَعَلَ أَزْوَاجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ مَا فَعَلْتُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا أَيْضًا عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 3204
Narrated 'Aishah [may Allah be pleased with her]: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was ordered to tell his wives to make a choice, he started with me. He said: 'O 'Aishah! I am going to mention something to you, but you should not hasten (to reply) until you have consulted your parents.' She said: And he knew that my parents would not have ordered me to part from him.' She said: Then Allah [Most High] revealed: 'O Prophet! Say to your wives: If you desire the life of this world and its glitter then come...' until reaching: '...for the good doers among you an enormous reward (33:28 & 29).' I said: 'For what should I consult my parents? Indeed I want Allah, His Messenger, and the abode of the Hereafter.' The (remaining) wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) did the same as I did.
