حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَکِ ح و حَدَّثَنَا مُحْرِزُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْعَدَنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ جُمْهَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِکُلِّ شَيْئٍ زَکَاةٌ وَزَکَاةُ الْجَسَدِ الصَّوْمُ زَادَ مُحْرِزٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصِّيَامُ نِصْفُ الصَّبْرِ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 1745
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h said:For everything there is Zakat and the Zakat of the body is fasting." (Da'if) (A narrator in one of the chains) Muhriz added in his narration: And the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'Fasting is half of patience.';'
