حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي سَهْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ صَامَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ کُلِّ شَهْرٍ فَذَلِکَ صَوْمُ الدَّهْرِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ تَصْدِيقَ ذَلِکَ فِي کِتَابِهِ مَنْ جَائَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا فَالْيَوْمُ بِعَشْرَةِ أَيَّامٍ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 1708
It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "Whoever fasts three days in every month, that is fasting for a lifetime." Then, in testimony of that, Allah revealed: "Whoever brings a good deed shall have ten times the like thereof to his credit.So one day is equivalent to ten (in reward). (Da'if)
