حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِکِ بْنِ الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ کَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِصِيَامِ الْبِيضِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ وَيَقُولُ هُوَ کَصَوْمِ الدَّهْرِ أَوْ کَهَيْئَةِ صَوْمِ الدَّهْرِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ أَنْبَأَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِکِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ مَلْحَانَ الْقَيْسِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ قَالَ ابْن مَاجَةَ أَخْطَأَ شُعْبَةُ وَأَصَابَ هَمَّامٌ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 1707
It was narrated from 'AbduL-Malik bin Minhal, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H used to enjoin fasting the bnght days -the thirteen th, fourteenth and fifteenth (when the moon is full). He said: "It is like fasting for a lifetime." (Da'if) Another chain from ' Abdul-Malik bin Qatadah bin Malhan Al-Qaisi, from his father, from the Prophet P.B.U.H with similar wording. Ibn Majah said: Shu'bah erred (in the name of one of the narrators) and Hammatn was correct.
