حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ نَهَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ تَعْجِيلِ صَوْمِ يَوْمٍ قَبْلَ الرُّؤْيَةِ

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H forbade anticipating the fast by fasting one day before the sighting (of the crescent)." (Da'if)
