حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْفَاکِهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْفَاکِهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ وَکَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمَ النَّحْرِ وَيَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ وَکَانَ الْفَاکِهُ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ بِالْغُسْلِ فِي هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 1316
It was narrated from ‘Abdur.Rahmán bin ‘Uqbah bin Fâkih bin Sa’d, from his grandfather Fâkih bin Sa’d who was a Companion of the Prophet that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H used to take a bath on the Day of Fitr, the Day of Nahr, and the day of ‘Arafah, and, Fâkih used to tell his family to have a bath on these days.
