حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَقْنُتُ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ يَدْعُو عَلَی حَيٍّ مِنْ أَحْيَائِ الْعَرَبِ شَهْرًا ثُمَّ تَرَکَ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 1243
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah SAW used to recite Qunut in The Subh prayer, and he used to supplicate in it against one of the Arab tribes for a month, then he stopped doing so. (Sahih).
