حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ مِنْ کُلِّ اللَّيْلِ قَدْ أَوْتَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ وَأَوْسَطِهِ وَانْتَهَی وِتْرُهُ إِلَی السَّحَرِ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 1186
It was narrated that 'Ali said: "At every part of the night the Messenger of Allah SAW prayed Witr, at the beginning and in the middle, and finally his Witr was just before dawn."(Hasan).
