حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ الزَّوْفِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُرَّةَ الزَّوْفِيِّ عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ الْعَدَوِيِّ قَالَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَمَدَّکُمْ بِصَلَاةٍ لَهِيَ خَيْرٌ لَکُمْ مِنْ حُمُرِ النَّعَمِ الْوِتْرُ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ لَکُمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَائِ إِلَی أَنْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 1168
It was narrated that Kharijah bin Hudhafah AI-'Adawi said. "The Prophet P.B.U.H came out to us and said. 'Allah has increased a prayer for you which is better for you than red camels. (It is) Witr, which Allah has enjoined on you between the 'Ishd' prayer and the onset of dawn.''' (Da'if)
