حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَرَأَی عَلَيْهِمْ ثِيَابَ النِّمَارِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا عَلَی أَحَدِکُمْ إِنْ وَجَدَ سَعَةً أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ ثَوْبَيْنِ لِجُمُعَتِهِ سِوَی ثَوْبَيْ مِهْنَتِهِ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 1096
It was narrated from ‘Aishaa that the Prophet delivered a sermon to the people One Friday, and he saw them wearing Woolen clothes. The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said:“There is nothing Wrong with any one of you, if he can afford it, buying two garments for Friday, other than his daily work clothes.” (Hasan)
