حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ أَبَا بَکْرٍ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ فِي الْغَارِ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَی قَدَمَيْهِ لَأَبْصَرَنَا تَحْتَ قَدَمَيْهِ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا بَکْرٍ مَا ظَنُّکَ بِاثْنَيْنِ اللَّهُ ثَالِثُهُمَا قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ إِنَّمَا يُعْرَفُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ هَمَّامٍ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ وَقَدْ رَوَی هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ نَحْوَ هَذَا
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 3096
Narrated Anas: that Abu Bakr narrated to him, he said: While were in the cave, I said to the Prophet (ﷺ): 'If one of them were to look down at his feet, then he would see us under his feet.' So he said: 'O Abu Bakr! What do you think about two, the third of whom is Allah?'
