حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ الْغَسَّانِيِّ عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ قُلْ هُوَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَی أَنْ يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْکُمْ عَذَابًا مِنْ فَوْقِکُمْ أَوْ مِنْ تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِکُمْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَا إِنَّهَا کَائِنَةٌ وَلَمْ يَأْتِ تَأْوِيلُهَا بَعْدُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 3066
Narrated Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas: from the Prophet (ﷺ), regarding this Ayah Say: He has the power to send torment on you from above or from under your feet...' the Prophet (ﷺ) said Indeed they shall be, even though they have not occurred as of yet.
