حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ مَوْلَی عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ جَرْهَدٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ عَنْ جَدِّهِ جَرْهَدٍ قَالَ مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِجَرْهَدٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَقَدْ انْکَشَفَ فَخِذُهُ فَقَال إِنَّ الْفَخِذَ عَوْرَةٌ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ مَا أَرَی إِسْنَادَهُ بِمُتَّصِلٍ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 2795
Narrated Zur'ah bin Muslim bin Jardah Al-Aslami: about his grandfather Jarhad, he said: The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by Jarhad in the Masjid and his thigh was exposed, so he said: 'Indeed the thigh is 'Awrah.'
