حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ حَتَّی يُرَی بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْکُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 914
It was narrated from 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H used to say the Salam to his right and his left, until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen (saying): "As-saldmu 'alaikum Wa raltmatullah (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah)." (Sahih)
