حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ عَنْ الْحَکَمِ بْنِ مِينَائَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَابْنُ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَلَی أَعْوَادِهِ لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدْعِهِمْ الْجَمَاعَاتِ أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَی قُلُوبِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَيَکُونُنَّ مِنْ الْغَافِلِينَ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 794
Ibn 'Abbas and Ibn 'Umar narrated that they heard the Prophet P.B.U.H say on his pulpit: "People should desist from failing to attend the congrega tions, otherwise Allah will seal their hearts, and then they will be among the negligent." (Sahih)
