حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَی حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ يَعِيشَ بْنَ قَيْسِ بْنِ طِخْفَةَ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَکَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الصُّفَّةِ قَالَ قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ انْطَلِقُوا فَانْطَلَقْنَا إِلَی بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ وَأَکَلْنَا وَشَرِبْنَا فَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ نِمْتُمْ هَا هُنَا وَإِنْ شِئْتُمْ انْطَلَقْتُمْ إِلَی الْمَسْجِدِ قَالَ فَقُلْنَا بَلْ نَنْطَلِقُ إِلَی الْمَسْجِدِ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 752
Ya'ish bin Qais bin Tikhfah narrated that his father, who was one of the people of Safah. said: "The Messenger of Allah P..B.U.H said to us' 'Come with me.' So we went' to the house of 'Aishah. where we ate and drank. Then the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said to us: 'If you want, you can sleep here, or if you want you can go out to the Masjid.' We said: 'We will go out to the Masjid.''' (Sahih)
