حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ مَوْلَی عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَدْرَکَهُ الْأَذَانُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ لَمْ يَخْرُجْ لِحَاجَةٍ وَهُوَ لَا يُرِيدُ الرَّجْعَةَ فَهُوَ مُنَافِقٌ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 734
It was narrated that 'Uthman said: "The Messenger of AlIah said Whaeverhearsthe Adhan when he is in the Masjid then goes out and does not go out for any (legitimate) need and does not intend to return, is a hypocrite.''' (Da'if)
