حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَائِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ وَعَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَعَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ يُحَدِّثُونَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَدْرَکَ مِنْ الْعَصْرِ رَکْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَکَهَا وَمَنْ أَدْرَکَ مِنْ الصُّبْحِ رَکْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَکَهَا
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 699
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah p.b.u.h said: “Whoever catches one Ra’kah of the ‘Asr before the sun sets, then he has caught it, and whoever catches one Ra’kah of the Subh before the sun rises, then he has caught it.” (Sahih)
