حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي حَرِيزٌ أَوْ أَبُو حَرِيزٍ الشَّکّ مِنْ يَحْيَی أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ فَرُّوخٍ يَسْأَلُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ إِنَّا نَتَبَايَعُ بِأَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ فَيَأْتِي أَحَدُنَا مَکَّةَ فَيَبِيتُ عَلَی الْمَالِ فَقَالَ أَمَّا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَاتَ بِمِنًی وَظَلَّ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1958
Ibn Jurayj asked Ibn Umar: We sell the property of the people; so one of us goes to Makkah and passes the night there with the property (during the stay at Mina). He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pass night and day at Mina.
