حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَائٌ أَخْبَرَنِي مُخْبِرٌ عَنْ أَسْمَائَ أَنَّهَا رَمَتْ الْجَمْرَةَ قُلْتُ إِنَّا رَمَيْنَا الْجَمْرَةَ بِلَيْلٍ قَالَتْ إِنَّا کُنَّا نَصْنَعُ هَذَا عَلَی عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1943
Ata said: A reporter reported to me about Asma that she threw pebbles at the jamrah at night. I said: We threw pebbles (at the jamrah) at night. She said: We used to do so in the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
