حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَی أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اعْتَمَرَ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَصَلَّی خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَکْعَتَيْنِ وَمَعَهُ مَنْ يَسْتُرُهُ مِنْ النَّاسِ فَقِيلَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْکَعْبَةَ قَالَ لَا

سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1902

Abd Allaah bin Abi Aufa said the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ‘Umrah and went round the House (the Kaabah) and prayed behind the station (Maqam Ibrahim) two rak’ahs and he was accompanied by so many people that he was hidden by them. Abd Allaah bin Abi Aufa was asked Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ enter the Kaabah ? He replied “No”.
