حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ قَالَ لَمَّا فَتَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَکَّةَ قُلْتُ لَأَلْبَسَنَّ ثِيَابِي وَکَانَتْ دَارِي عَلَی الطَّرِيقِ فَلَأَنْظُرَنَّ کَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَانْطَلَقْتُ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ خَرَجَ مِنْ الْکَعْبَةِ هُوَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ وَقَدْ اسْتَلَمُوا الْبَيْتَ مِنْ الْبَابِ إِلَی الْحَطِيمِ وَقَدْ وَضَعُوا خُدُودَهُمْ عَلَی الْبَيْتِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسْطَهُمْ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1898
Narrated Abdur Rahman ibn Safwan: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conquered Makkah, I said (to myself): I shall put on my clothes, and my house lay on the way, I shall watch how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ behaves. So I went out. I saw that the Prophet ﷺ and his Companions had come out from the Kabah and embraced the House (the Kabah) from its entrance (al-Bab) to al-Hatim. They placed their cheek on the House (the Kabah) while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was amongst them.
