حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَی بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَرَمْيُ الْجِمَارِ لِإِقَامَةِ ذِکْرِ اللَّهِ

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Going round the House (the Kabah), running between as-Safa and lapidation of the pillars are meant for the remembrance of Allah.
