حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْبَرْمَکِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَعِنٌ عَنْ مَالِکٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ وَابْنُ حَنْبَلٍ عَنْ يَحْيَی ح و حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ جَمِيعًا عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَدْخُلُ مَکَّةَ مِنْ الثَّنِيَّةِ الْعُلْيَا قَالَا عَنْ يَحْيَی إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَدْخُلُ مَکَّةَ مِنْ کَدَائَ مِنْ ثَنِيَّةِ الْبَطْحَائِ وَيَخْرُجُ مِنْ الثَّنِيَّةِ السُّفْلَی زَادَ الْبَرْمَکِيُّ يَعْنِي ثَنِيَّتَيْ مَکَّةَ وَحَدِيثُ مُسَدَّدٍ أَتَمُّ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1866
Ibn Umar said The Prophet ﷺ used to enter Makkah from the upper hillock. The version of Yahya goes: The Prophet ﷺ used to enter Makkah from Kuda’ from the hillock of Batha’. He would come out from the lower hillock. Al Barmaki added “that is the two hillocks of Makkah”. The version of Musaddad is more complete.
