أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ نَهَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الشِّغَارِ قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ وَالشِّغَارُ کَانَ الرَّجُلُ يُزَوِّجُ ابْنَتَهُ عَلَی أَنْ يُزَوِّجَهُ أُخْتَهُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3346
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade Ash-Shighar.” (One of the narrators) ‘Ubaidullah said: “Ash-Shighar means when a man gives his daughter in marriage on condition that (the other man) gives him his sister in marriage.” (Sahih)
