حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَابِطٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابَهُ کَانُوا يَنْحَرُونَ الْبَدَنَةَ مَعْقُولَةَ الْيُسْرَی قَائِمَةً عَلَی مَا بَقِيَ مِنْ قَوَائِمِهَا

Abd al Rahman bin Thabit said: The Prophet ﷺ and his companions used to sacrifice the camel with its left leg tied and it remained standing on the rest of his legs.
