حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْکَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةِ أَنَّهَا ذَکَرَتْ عِدَّةً مِنْ مَسَاکِينَ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد و قَالَ غَيْرُهُ أَوْ عِدَّةً مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْطِي وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصَی عَلَيْکِ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 1700
Abu Mulaykah reported: Aishah counted a number of indigents. Abu Dawud said: The other version has: She counted a number of sadaqahs. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Give and do not calculate, so calculation will be made against you.
