أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ جَائَتْ سَهْلَةُ بِنْتُ سُهَيْلٍ إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي أَرَی فِي وَجْهِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ مِنْ دُخُولِ سَالِمٍ عَلَيَّ قَالَ فَأَرْضِعِيهِ قَالَتْ وَکَيْفَ أُرْضِعُهُ وَهُوَ رَجُلٌ کَبِيرٌ فَقَالَ أَلَسْتُ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ رَجُلٌ کَبِيرٌ ثُمَّ جَائَتْ بَعْدُ فَقَالَتْ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَکَ بِالْحَقِّ نَبِيًّا مَا رَأَيْتُ فِي وَجْهِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ بَعْدُ شَيْئًا أَکْرَهُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3328
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “Sahlah bint Suhail came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and said: ‘I see (displeasure) in the face of Abu Hudhaifah when Salim enters upon me.’ The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Breast-feed him.’ She said: ‘How can I breast-feed him when he is a grown man?’ He said: ‘Don’t I know that he is a grown man?’ Then she came after that and said: ‘By the One Who sent you with the truth as a Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, I have never seen anything I dislike on the face of Abu Hudhaifah after that.” (Sahih)
