حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ مَطَرٍ وَيَعْلَی بْنُ حَکِيمٍ عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ حَدَّثَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا يَنْکِحُ الْمُحْرِمُ وَلَا يُنْکِحُ وَلَا يَخْطُبُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3284
‘Uthman bin ‘Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “The Muhrim should not get married, arrange a marriage for someone else, nor propose marriage.” (Sahih)
