أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَرْحُومُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَطَّارُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ثَابِتًا الْبُنَانِيَّ يَقُولُ کُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ وَعِنْدَهُ ابْنَةٌ لَهُ فَقَالَ جَائَتْ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَی رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَرَضَتْ عَلَيْهِ نَفْسَهَا فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَکَ فِيَّ حَاجَةٌ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3257
Thabit Al-BunanI said: “I was with Anas bin Malik and a daughter of his was with him. He said: ‘A woman came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and offered herself in marriage to him. She said: Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, do you want to marry me?” (Sahih).
