أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ کَيْسَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ خَطَبَ رَجُلٌ امْرَأَةً مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَلْ نَظَرْتَ إِلَيْهَا قَالَ لَا فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَيْهَا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3242
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “A man proposed marriage to a woman from among the An and the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said to him: ‘Have you seen her?’ He said: ‘No.’ So he told him to look at her.” (Sahih)
