أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَی جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَقُلْتُ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ حَجَّةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَفَعَ مِنْ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَأَرْدَفَ الْفَضْلَ بْنَ الْعَبَّاسِ حَتَّی أَتَی مُحَسِّرًا حَرَّکَ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ سَلَکَ الطَّرِيقَ الْوُسْطَی الَّتِي تُخْرِجُکَ عَلَی الْجَمْرَةِ الْکُبْرَی حَتَّی أَتَی الْجَمْرَةَ الَّتِي عِنْدَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَرَمَی بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ يُکَبِّرُ مَعَ کُلِّ حَصَاةٍ مِنْهَا حَصَی الْخَذْفِ رَمَی مِنْ بَطْنِ الْوَادِي
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3061
Ja’far bin Muhammad narrated that his father said: “We entered upon Jabir bin ‘Abdullah and I said: ‘Tell me about the Hajj of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم .‘ He said: ‘The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم moved on from Al-Muzdalifah before the sun rose, and Al-Facll bin ‘Abbas rode behind him. When he came to Mubassir he sped up a little, then he followed the middle road that brings you out at the largest Jamrat. When he came to the Jamrat which is by the tree, he threw seven pebbles, saying the Takbir with each one, (using) pebbles the size of date stones of fingertips, and he threw from the bottom of the valley.” (Sahih).
