أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُونُسَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَطَائٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَاسٍ أَنَّ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ قَالَ أَفَاضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ عَرَفَةَ وَأَنَا رَدِيفُهُ فَجَعَلَ يَکْبَحُ رَاحِلَتَهُ حَتَّی أَنَّ ذِفْرَاهَا لَيَکَادُ يُصِيبُ قَادِمَةَ الرَّحْلِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عَلَيْکُمْ بِالسَّکِينَةِ وَالْوَقَارِ فَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ لَيْسَ فِي إِيضَاعِ الْإِبِلِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 3025
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that Usamah bin Zaid said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم departed from ‘Arafat and I was riding behind him. He started trying to rein in his camel until its ears nearly touched the front of the saddle, and he was saying: ‘people, you must be tranquil and dignified, for righteousness does not come by making camels hurry.” (Sahih)
