أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَنَّ طَاوُسًا أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَنَّهُ قَصَّرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِشْقَصٍ فِي عُمْرَةٍ عَلَی الْمَرْوَةِ

It was narrated from Muawiyah that he cut the hair of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم with the edge of an arrow during his ‘Umrah at Al Marwah. (Sahih)
