أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرٌ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَزَلَ يَعْنِي عَنْ الصَّفَا حَتَّی إِذَا انْصَبَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي الْوَادِي رَمَلَ حَتَّی إِذَا صَعِدَ مَشَی

Jabir narrated that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم J came down from As-Safauntil he reached level ground in the valley, then he hastened (Ram!) until (the ground) rose, then he walked. (Sahih)
