أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْکِينٍ قِرَائَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنْ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِکٌ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ إِذَا نَزَلَ مِنْ الصَّفَا مَشَی حَتَّی إِذَا انْصَبَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي بَطْنِ الْوَادِي سَعَی حَتَّی يَخْرُجَ مِنْهُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2988
It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, that when the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم came down from As-Safahe would walk until he reached the bottom of the valley, then he would hasten until he came out of it. (Sahih)
